M Zee Bella’s Chemical Reaction: Is it Him vs. the DHH?

M Zee Bella is one of the most skilled artists in the underground hip hop scene in India. The rapper, who was first seen in MTV Hustle’s first season, didn’t only win the show but also created a loyal fan base and army for himself.

With over 2 lakh listeners on Spotify, Bella has gained immense popularity among hip hop lovers.

The rapper recently dropped his mixtape by the name “Chemical Reactions” with heavy bass, apparent New York drill, auto tunes, and rap music, creating a very unique and engaging album for hip hop listeners across the globe.

This 5 track mixtape is with Def Jam Recordings India, while the beats are produced by UZI and Rohit Gaira.

Track 1 : Bombay Circle

The first track in the album is “Bombay Circle,” a typical New York style drill track with a rather melodic hook and a gangsta vibe that carries forward till the end.

Track 2 : Raakh Zamana Kar

Raakh Zamana Kar” is the second track of the album, Bella here tried something very new by giving it a touch of horror. The lyrics of this track seem to be exposing and spitting out facts about the Desi hip-hop community and artists.

Track 3 : Kendrick Wala Gana

Kendrick Lamar, one of the pioneers of hip-hop, has been a great source of inspiration and influence for many hip hop artists, and Bella is one of them. His track “Kendrick Wala Gana” is a tribute to the former hip hop artist, the flow and lyrics of the track are filled with confidence and self assurance on Bella’s part as an artist.

Track 4 : Bellopia

The fourth track, “Bellopia,” is filled with groovy and engaging beats and vibe; the hook is again melodic, while the verses are stuffed with powerful messages and name drops.

This track gives us an insight into Bella’s unique universe, where he talks about being inspired by Travis and Babbu Maan at the same time.

Track 5 : Chemical Reaction

Rightly so, Mixtape’s last track is named “Chemical Reaction.” This is the most melodic track on the album.

Whereas throughout the mixtape we see an aggressive, gangsta vibe and the over the edge side of Bella, this track feels like a soft yet impactful end to this authentic, groovy, and engaging tape. In this track, Bella opens up about himself, his hardships, and how he has been portrayed in a very different light because he is not what people assume him to be. We can see his vulnerable and honest interaction with his fans through this track’s strong lyrics.

It is thus safe to say that this versatile and powerful mixtape is worth all the hype created around it. The talented rapper has discovered different genres through this mixtape while talking his heart out through his amazingly strong lyrics.

This mixtape is one of the best pieces of music created by Bella, even being said to be his best work till now by many! Either way, this talent filled artist and his mixtape are something to look out for!
